Make A Referral

Cakes for Cause serves youth between the ages of 16 and 21.  We primarily serve youth who are living in foster care, who have aged out of foster care, or who have been adopted out of foster care.  We also serve young people who are living in public housing in Frederick.  We accept referrals from the Department of Social Services, the Department of Juvenile Services, and several other public and private agencies who provide similar kinds of services.

In Frederick, youth in our program work at our social enterprise, Moxie Bakery & Cafe, a 24-seat restaurant in the heart of the historic district.

If you think you or a young person that you know may be eligible for our services, please take a moment and look over some frequently asked questions about our program.  If you would like to make a referral, please take some time and fill out a complete referral packet and either mail or drop it off to us.
