In addition to supporting our social enterprise bakery and eating cookies, many of the Apprentices in our program are supported through scholarship grant funds from individuals and corporations. They work up to 30 paid hours per week in our social enterprise and are provided with a full uniform, knife roll and curriculum materials. In addition to working as restaurant employees, each apprentice is mentored in appropriate workplace behavior every day and our professional staff are actively engaged in helping them reach their personal, vocational, and financial goals. - $25 purchases curriculum materials for a new apprentice
- $92 buys a pair of top quality chef shoes
- $150 covers the full uniform costs for one apprentice
- $774 supports an apprentice stipend for the first month of the program
- $3,830 gives an apprentice the opportunity to complete the entire 6 month program
